Who we are
Pete’s Press is a hybrid publisher located in Regina, Saskatchewan but open to authors worldwide. The main goal of Pete’s Press is to publish interactive, thought-provoking literature that stimulates the minds of readers while fostering an intimate sense of community. At Pete’s Press, our aim is to publish books that challenge and inspire our readers.
“A book is the only place in which you can examine a fragile thought without breaking it.”
– Edward Morgan
Pete, of Pete’s Press.
Pete, the late, great and bookish Cat, was the inspiration behind the press. Tragically, Pete passed away in the summer of 2024, but his legacy lives on through our books. Pete was the perfect example of our publishing house’s values because he took the initiative to improve his circumstances in life. One day, after spending months as a stray, he quietly sauntered in through our door and stated he had no plans on leaving. Pete took a risk with us and was rewarded handsomely. As we did with Pete, we take in strays – stray stories that are looking for a good home, but wish to maintain their independence.
