Who We Are
Making a book takes a whole team! One of the major advantages of hybrid publishing is that you don’t have to face the task of creating an entire book by yourself. We want our Pete’s authors to concentrate on what they do best – writing the manuscripts. Everything else, you can leave to the fine folks below.

Annabel Townsend – Founder and Acquisitions Editor
Annabel founded Pete’s Press to join up the dots between the booklovers she met through her days running The Penny University Bookstore, with the talented authors she meets through her own writing endeavours. She has a PhD. in Human Geography from the University of Sheffield in the UK. Most of her writing is nonfiction concerning people, places, hope and failure. She has four books published so far and is working on her first fiction novel. Find out more at:
Robyn Dansereau – Senior Fiction Editor
Robyn has been publishing novels for over fifteen years, and has worked as a journalist, a bookseller and as a personal trainer too. She has published four books in her ‘Ever After Tales’ Collection and books five and six are currently in progress. She reads copious amounts of books on her acreage in McLean, Saskatchewan where she lives with her husband and dogs.

Keely Kulpa – Publicist
Pete’s Press books are introduced to the world by Keely (Regina, SK) who is our book publicist and marketing expert. Keely helps our authors through the daunting task of finding their audience, via her excellent social media skills, event management experience and even podcasting. Keely also writes, and her debut book, ‘Coma’ was published through Pete’s Press.
Meredith Hughes – Cover Designer
Architectural drafter by day, cover designer by night, Meredith is responsible for most of our amazing book covers! When not reading or sketching, she plays a lot of D&D – when the game is not upset by her rambunctious puppy, Zaphod.

Editors and Artists at Large
There are a great many freelance creatives who join us for specific projects, either as additional editors, designers and cover artists. These include:
Hannah Rumble (Academic editor)
Leighton Peart (Technical Editor)
Bernice Richard (Children’s publishing consultant/designer)
Milo Townsend (Manuscript Evaluations)
Robyn Lanz (Cover design)
Poe the Cat – hindrance to operations.
We are also often joined by Poe, who ‘helps’ with shipping and distribution. He is very fond of boxes.
