Our Books:

Essay Collection:
Toothaches, an anthology
Pete’s Press has been working with the Creative Writing class at Sheldon-William’s high school recently, to produce an anthology of the class’s work. Titled ‘Toothaches’ this impressive collection of student work is out now!

Short Story Collection:
From the Ground Up
From the Ground Up is the first fiction anthology released by Pete’s Press. Emerging writers have come together to share their diverse work, which is sure to delight fans of any genre.
Based on the theme from Regina, Saskatchewan’s Cathedral Village Arts Festival (2024), ten fiction writers from the Regina area have contributed their work to this anthology. Andy Whitman’s story of giant creatures breaking out of the earth, Tricia Saxby’s feelgood coming of age tale and Robyn Tocker’s take on Snow White’s not-so happily-ever-after, amongst stories from many other outstanding writers, are sure to entertain. Readers will also discover humour, fantasy, crime drama, speculative fiction and science fiction in this collection.

Coming Soon:

Strays, an anthology
Strays is the 2025 Fiction Anthology from Pete’s Press, featuring ten more original stories from Saskatchewan authors. Some of these stories were pitched to us at the Battle of the Pitches event we held at the Cathedral Village Arts Festival, and some found their way to us at random. We like to take in stray stories which have not yet found a home elsewhere.
