Come along to the bookshop for the launch of not one, but two new anthologies from Pete’s Press!
We’re launching Hope and Failure – a collection of personal stories of very human experiences from ten emerging writers.
And
SLOP – Essays against AI. Simply put, this slim volume explains exactly why AI sucks and you should not use it.
The launch party will have as many of these authors as can make it to Regina, books for sale, and of course Cake!

Jim Morgan spent fourteen years as a Parking Enforcement Officer with the City of Vancouver, and that’s the basis of his memoir.
But it isn’t just about parking tickets.
It’s about what doing that job — any job where you take the hit from the public — does to you over time. The losses that were waiting for him the moment he retired. And the dark humour that kept him from going under. Dark humour, and a cantankerous stuffed bear named Boyington.
