Our hybrid publishing model

We understand that having your work published, edited, and distributed can feel like a monumental undertaking. With our team of professional editors and graphic designers, we can help you during every step of your publishing journey. By becoming a member of Pete’s Press, you will take advantage of our large network of distributors.  

Pete’s Press’ hybrid publishing offers authors the best of both worlds: creative autonomy and professional support for their successful publishing journey. Our publishing model offers authors a unique blend of traditional and self-publishing advantages, combining the editorial expertise and distribution networks of traditional publishers with the creative control of self-publishing. 

How do I submit my manuscript?

To get started as an author with Pete’s Press, please send us the following via email: 

• Your story’s Working Title 
• An approximate word count 
• The genre of your work 
• A one-page synopsis detailing why and how you think your story fits with the ideals of Pete’s Press,
• 3 Sample Chapters, or in the case of children’s book submissions, 3 pages/illustrations 
• A short blurb about who you are (previous writing experience, prior published books etc.) 

Submissions that are selected can expect to receive a response within 2 working days. If Pete’s Press elects to take on your book, we will then send you a quote. This fee covers editing from at least two different professional editors, formatting and design, printing and distribution and marketing. After accepting the quote, you will be asked to forward us your full manuscript.

Our books will be available to buy all over the world through Amazon, Barnes and Noble and through the Ingram network (which allows other independent bookstores to purchase them for their stock.)
